Just in time for Valentine’s Day, “Local Art in the Highlands” is proud to present its second charitable Visual Arts show: Unconditional Love! Join us February 10 7-10 PM as area artists offer their interpretation of unconditional love to benefit the Animal Care Society AND the St. Andrews Episcopal Youth Group.
A cover fee of only $5 includes appetizers, wine tastings, and the chance to bid on silent auction items and musical performances by Jonny Sands who opens for “Son of the Widow”.
A majority of door proceeds go to Animal Care Society and St. Andrews. In addition to beautiful art, great music and tasty treats, guests will enjoy fraternizing with adoptable animals from the Animal Care Society (ACS)! ACS is Louisville’s private no kill in eastern Jefferson Co. They’ve been making love matches with people and pets since 1984.
St. Andrews Episcopal Church continues its 155 year tradition of community building through the outreach of their youth fellowship. Local Art in the Highlands is a venture conceived by Lucent Dreams Photography, Sandie Griffin and Kim Torres are helping to bring art, faith and the community together by hosting a benefit group art exhibit. The group show, part of an ongoing quarterly art exhibit, will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church at 2233 Woodbourne Ave. Submission deadline for participation is Jan. 29. Interested artists should contact Kim Torres @ (ampersandprime@gmail.com)
