Notes: Namby and Pamby are two of the sweetest cats in our shelter. They came in as kittens in the spring of 2009 and completely won the hearts of all the ACS staff. They love everyone they meet and are extremely affectionate. So why are these two friendly, fun-loving, felines still guests at the shelter? As a result of an adverse reaction to an oral medication when they were young, they have a medical condition which requires that they eat only liquified canned food because their esophagus cannot effectivley accommodate any type of solid food. To prevent the chance of them finding and trying to eat a morsel of another pet's food or happening upon food dropped by or offered to them by a child, both Namby and Pamby would be safer in a home without other pets or children. Other than that, they have the same requirements as our other cats - a furever home with someone who will play with them, cuddle with them, and love them for the rest of their lives.
